The Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef has welcomed the successful conclusion of the National Consultative Council (NCC) meeting held in Mogadishu.
In a statement the Head of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia commended President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and leaders of the Federal Member States for their constructive discussions and agreements reached on key national priorities.

ATMIS looks forward to supporting Somalia in implementing the councilรขโฌโขs decision to set up a technical committee to expedite the completion of the National Security Architecture Agreement of April 2017 ahead of the next NCC conference.
