The crash involved a vehicle driven by a member of the Puntland presidential guard, reportedly under the influence of drugs. The deceased officer, Abdirahman Yusuf Ahmed, had recently joined the police force. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, highlighting ongoing concerns over drug use among some security personnel in the region.
