The event brought together senior officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, led by the Minister of Defence, alongside top military leaders including the Chief of Defence Forces and other high-ranking officers, as well as national-level officials.
During the gathering, speakers paid tribute to the courage and dedication of the Somali National Army, commending their continued efforts in the ongoing campaign against Al-Shabaab. They emphasized the bravery and selflessness shown by troops on the frontlines, noting that their sacrifices play a crucial role in safeguarding national security and stability.
Prayers were also offered for the fallen soldiers, with officials describing their deaths as honorable and a symbol of commitment to protecting the nation and its people.
