The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Jubbaland held its monthly coordination meeting on social protection activities, bringing together partner agencies working on community protection projects.

The meeting, chaired by Mohamed Bishaar Mo’allim, Director of the Social Protection Department, focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and partner organizations and accelerating the implementation of social protection initiatives across Jubbaland.

During the session, agencies presented reports on ongoing projects, progress levels, challenges encountered, and future plans to improve community services.

Director Mo’allim encouraged all participating agencies to enhance cooperation and emphasized the importance of ensuring that Somali communities have access to effective, equitable, and inclusive social protection services.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to regularly monitor project implementation, ensuring that plans and commitments are effectively executed and that social protection services reach all those in need.
