The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today received officials and members of the Future Council at the Presidential Palace, following their acceptance of the consultation initiative extended by the Federal Government.
After the welcoming ceremony, President Hassan Sheikh chaired a bilateral meeting focused on key national priorities, including the overall situation of the country, the electoral process, strengthening national unity and cohesion, drought response efforts, and the ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab.
The meeting forms part of broader efforts to promote dialogue, cooperation, and collective responsibility in addressing Somalia’s political, security, and humanitarian challenges.
