The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Daud Aweis Jama, last tonight officially launched the annual Ramadan Knowledge Competition organized by the National Media.
This year’s competition features 32 districts from across the country, with the opening round kicking off between the districts of Las Anod and Karaan, representing the regions of Banaadir and Sool.
The Deputy Governor for Social Affairs of the Banaadir Regional Administration and representatives from IBS Bank also attended the launch event, which is expected to draw significant public interest this year.
Minister Daud Aweis wished success to the participating districts and the competition hosts, emphasizing the importance of promoting knowledge and intellectual engagement for the development of Somalia and its people.
