The Ministerial Committee of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) tasked with national dialogue and consultations today, January 29, 2026, held a consultative meeting with political organizations.
The meeting forms part of the committee’s ongoing consultations with various segments of society and political stakeholders, aimed at fostering inclusive dialogue on issues of national importance and shaping consensus on Somalia’s future direction.

Participants also exchanged views on the completion of the Constitution, preparations for elections, and the humanitarian situation caused by ongoing droughts across the country.
