Speaking at the launch ceremony, Minister Juraati emphasized the importance of equipping women with practical skills that enable them to contribute to household incomes and participate actively in local economic development.

The center was constructed by CARE, an international humanitarian organization known for its work in social development and women’s empowerment. CARE officials highlighted that the project seeks to support vulnerable women and strengthen their role in community resilience and sustainable livelihoods.

Local residents and beneficiaries welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will help improve the lives of women and families in the area. The launch reflects ongoing efforts by the Jubbaland administration and its partners to promote gender equality, economic empowerment, and social development across the region.
