AMISOM Police Unit third division has donated equipment to Somali Police Force in the city of Baidoa.
The equipment among them cameras was handed over to criminal investigation department in the area to help them step up security.

Major Siad Ali, the head of Somali criminal investigation department in Baidoa has received the tools from AMISOM on behalf of Somali Police.
He thanked AMISOM Police for the donation saying the received tools will intensify security improvement in the area.
Theresa Awelo of AMISOM has called upon their Somali counterparts to make use of the equipment to improve security in the region.

AMISOM Police unit has close working relations with Somali Police and has provided trainings to boost its capacity.
