The Governor of Banaadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Xasan Maxamed Xuseen (Muungaab), has delivered essential supplies and support to the Kaaraan Boys Orphanage School, which educates nearly 300 students. He announced that starting in April, the school will receive regular financial support from the local administration.

During the visit, Dr. Muungaab praised the school administration for their dedication to nurturing and caring for orphaned children. He emphasized that while the municipal government is responsible for basic services, special attention will continue to be given to vulnerable groups as part of implementing the directives of Somalia’s President, Dr. Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud.

This initiative follows the mayor’s previous support for the Boondheere Girls Orphanage School, highlighting a broader program of municipal and Banaadir regional administration efforts to provide sustained financial and logistical assistance to orphanages across the capital.

The move demonstrates the local government’s commitment to education, child welfare, and social support for vulnerable populations in Mogadishu, ensuring that both boys and girls at orphanages receive the care and opportunities they need to thrive.
