Abdulqadir Ilmi, Director General at the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, held a meeting with officials from NIS Foundation, led by their Somalia Representative, Kassim Gabowduale.

The meeting focused on reconciliation efforts, joint initiatives to strengthen stabilization, and cooperation between the government and communities, particularly in resolving conflicts and supporting the recovery of vulnerable populations affected by recurrent droughts.

Discussions also covered ways to improve coordination mechanisms between government institutions and civil society organizations to ensure effective and sustainable support for communities living in drought-affected areas.
