Qatar Charity, in partnership with the Embassy of Qatar in Somalia, today officially launched the distribution of food assistance to vulnerable Somali families during the holy month of Ramadan.

The launch ceremony was attended by officials from the Banadir Regional Administration and representatives of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA).

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Qatar Charity outlined the food aid delivered to the Somali Police Orphans Care Center and confirmed that additional support will be extended to many more families in need throughout Ramadan.

Officials from the Banadir Regional Administration and SoDMA expressed appreciation for Qatar Charity’s continued humanitarian assistance, particularly during challenging periods and the blessed month of Ramadan.
