Divisions of the Somali National Army called Danab, composed of specially trained elites for counter-terrorism have successfully completed their military training in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
The wrap up ceremony was attended by top military ranking officers in the Somali National Army spearheaded by the Commander, Major General Mohamed Aden Ahmed.
In the ceremony the military personnel displayed their skills which were admired by the audience at large.
The commander of the Somali military Major General Aden urged the new officers to sacrifice their lives for saving the nation from the ‘blood suckers’ , by which he meant the terrorist group.
Danab personnel have on several occasions conducted successful operations in areas which were hubs for al-Shabaab militants.
