Somalia’s break away enclave of Somaliland president Ahmed Silanyo on Sunday made his second cabinet reshuffle less than two weeks.  The president appointed new faces and annulled other key political figures.

In a decree released by the president also appointed deputy minsters, state ministers and departmental chiefs. The administration has been facing an outsize scandal after President’s spar with former finance minster AbdiAsis Mohamed Samale.

Speaking at a hand over ceremony held in Hargaisa on last Saturday, the removed Finance minster said that he was removed inner reasons relating President’s wife.

The President has appointed Farah Elmi as the new Education minster and Gabiley mayor was chosen to head the regions’ industry ministry. The Somalia’s self declared state of Somaliland has been seeking international recognition since 1991.
