The Jordanian government has strongly condemned Israel’s recent announcement recognizing the Somaliland administration, describing it as a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. Jordan emphasized that the move infringes on the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

In an official statement issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government reiterated its unwavering support for Somalia and underscored the importance of respecting national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law principles.

Jordan also called on the international community to prevent any unilateral actions that could undermine peace, stability, and security in the Horn of Africa region.
