Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held a productive meeting today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministers’ Forum in Brussels.
The meeting focused on strengthening and expanding the growing bilateral relationship between Somalia and Pakistan. Both sides emphasized the historical ties, brotherly relations, and shared interests that form the foundation of their cooperation.
The ministers also agreed to accelerate collaboration in several areas, including diplomacy, security, trade, education, health, and institutional capacity building, aiming to achieve sustainable development beneficial to both nations.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue regular dialogue and cooperation while creating new opportunities to further enhance bilateral relations.
