Gaza City – Israeli military forces have demolished a high-rise building in Gaza City, marking the second major structure targeted within 48 hours.
Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, shared video footage of the demolition on X (formerly Twitter), writing simply: “We continue.”

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), which have been intensifying operations across Gaza, claimed the building—known as Sussi Tower—was being used by Hamas. The armed group denied the allegation.
Casualty figures from the attack remain unclear. Prior to Saturday’s strike, Israeli forces reportedly distributed leaflets urging residents to evacuate what they called “humanitarian zones” in southern Gaza.
In a social media statement in Arabic, IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee encouraged civilians to relocate to al-Mawasi, an area situated between Khan Younis and the coast, noting that thousands had already moved.
The demolition continues a pattern of Israel targeting infrastructure it alleges is linked to militant activity, raising concerns from international observers about civilian safety and humanitarian impacts in the densely populated Gaza Strip.
