Reports from multiple sources on social media indicate that the secretary to the Somalia’s deputy Prime Minister Khadar Guled was on Friday arrested in the Somaliland asministrative capital Hargeisa. Mr. Abdiqani Yasiin Mohamed is said to be under police custody. It is not clear why Mr Mohamed was arrested. Deputy PM Guled hails from Somaliland. […]

Reports from multiple sources on social media indicate that the secretary to the Somalia’s deputy Prime Minister Khadar Guled was on Friday arrested in the Somaliland asministrative capital Hargeisa.

Mr. Abdiqani Yasiin Mohamed is said to be under police custody.

It is not clear why Mr Mohamed was arrested.

Deputy PM Guled hails from Somaliland.

Befor his appointment by Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo he served as a legal advisor to the Somaliland administration.
