At least one Somali government soldiers and two civilians were killed late Tuesday when militant group Al-Shabab attacked a village in Middle Shabelle, Radio Dalsan reports.
The militants captured the village of  Qalimow which lies between Bal’ad and the Hirshabelle administrative capital Jowhar less than 90km from Mogadishu.
SNA has been deployed in the affected area to counter the attack.
The Alqaeda linked Alshabaab has recently intensified attacks in the area ambushing government security convoys and bases.
