The Kismayo District Health Coordinator, Mohamed Sheikh Adan, recently conducted official field visits to the Qarsa and Darusalaam areas under Kismayo city, the interim capital of Jubbaland, to closely evaluate the state of healthcare services and identify local needs.
The visit began in Qarsa, where Coordinator Adan toured the local health center, met with staff, and interacted with community members who rely on the facility. During the visit, he listened to concerns, suggestions, and complaints from residents and staff, assuring them that their issues would be addressed promptly to improve service delivery.
Following Qarsa, the Coordinator traveled to Darusalaam to inspect the construction of a new health facility currently underway by the Jubbaland Ministry of Health. The visit aimed to ensure that the new center meets quality standards and will provide the community with improved access to medical care once completed.
“This visit is part of our ongoing efforts to guarantee equitable access to quality healthcare across all communities in Kismayo,” Coordinator Adan said, emphasizing the importance of listening to residents’ feedback and responding effectively to local healthcare challenges.
The field visits highlight Jubbaland authorities’ commitment to strengthening the healthcare system and ensuring that essential medical services reach all districts under their jurisdiction.
