The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, on Sunday officially presided over the handover ceremony today at the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction, and Housing.
During the event, the Second Deputy Prime Minister facilitated the transfer of office between the outgoing Minister, Dr. Elmi Mohamud Nur, and the newly appointed Minister, Ayub Ismail Yusuf, who was recently designated for the role by the Prime Minister.
In his remarks, the Second Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of institutional continuity. He thanked the outgoing leadership for their efforts in national development and welcomed Minister Ayub Ismail Yusuf to his new role, highlighting the critical tasks ahead regarding national housing and infrastructure.
