Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud is expected to travel to New York City in the United States, where he will chair a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, according to reports.
President Hassan Sheikh will become the first Somali president to chair a Security Council meeting, an event seen as a historic diplomatic success for Somalia.
During the Security Council meeting, the President will deliver an official address, in which he will detail the aggressive agenda the Jews are pursuing to divide the unity of Somalia, while firmly reiterating the position of the Federal Government regarding the defense of the country’s sovereignty and unity.
President Hassan Sheikh’s trip to New York comes at a time when Somalia is highly active on the international stage and seeks to strengthen its diplomatic role and representation at the United Nations.
