A roadside bomb planted by al-Shabaab hit a civilian vehicle near Ceeldheer in central Somalia, killing and injuring passengers as the Somali National Army evacuated the wounded to Mogadishu.

Galmudug Darawiish forces launched a night operation in Ceelahelay, Galgaduud, targeting Al-Shabaab positions. At least seven militants were killed, and several hideouts were cleared. Security forces continue to pursue remaining insurgents while strengthening local safety and regional stability.
