Speaking on state-building and anti-terrorism efforts, the President emphasized ongoing political reforms, preparations for direct elections, and the urgent need for global support in tackling climate shocks. He reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to building a resilient, democratic state capable of delivering for its people.
Somalia’s Health Minister, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, addressed a global panel at the Doha Forum 2025, stressing the need for stronger domestic health financing and expanded South–South cooperation in response to declining international aid.
