Former Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Information Minister Collect Voter Cards in Mogadishu
Former Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia and Member of Parliament, Mahdi Mohamed Guled, alongside the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adaala, today collected their voter cards at the National Theatre in Mogadishu, where the National Independent Electoral Commission has established a temporary registration office.
The Minister and the MP called on registered Somali citizens to turn out in large numbers at designated polling stations on Thursday, when the Banadir Region will hold the Local Council elections, as officially announced by the National Electoral Commission.
Meanwhile, Banadir Region is witnessing final preparations ahead of the Local Council elections scheduled to take place on Thursday. Voter cards continue to be issued at designated centers, as authorities intensify efforts to ensure a smooth, orderly, and inclusive electoral process in the capital.
