The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hon. Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), today held a productive meeting at his office with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Almowallad.
The discussions focused on reinforcing the historic and fraternal ties between Somalia and Saudi Arabia, particularly in supporting government institutions, parliamentary development, and cooperation on political and developmental matters.
The Saudi Ambassador praised the Speaker and the Somali Parliament for their efforts in strengthening legislative institutions and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to continue supporting Somalia’s development, stability, and reconstruction.
Speaker Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe) expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support, highlighting its role in humanitarian assistance, social services development, and backing both the government and the Somali people.
