Somalia and Sweden discuss economic collaboration and institutional capacity building during high-level meeting in Mogadishu.

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on Tuesday received the Swedish Minister of International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Mr. Benjamin Dousa, at the National Palace in Mogadishu.

During the meeting, President Hassan Sheikh and Minister Dousa discussed the longstanding bilateral relationship between Somalia and Sweden, exploring ways to further strengthen cooperation. The discussions focused on economic collaboration, trade opportunities, and enhancing the capacity of Somalia’s government institutions.
