Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre Visits Scholar Sheikh Abdirashid Sheikh Ali Suufi in Mogadishu
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, on Friday evening paid a visit to the residence of prominent Somali scholar Sheikh Abdirashid Sheikh Ali Suufi in Mogadishu.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed the Sheikh on the overall situation of the country, with both discussing ways to enhance public awareness, the role of religious scholars in peacebuilding, and the importance of strengthening national unity. Sheikh Suufi offered prayers for the nation and the people of Somalia.
Later in the evening, the Prime Minister spent time with members of the Somali public who were relaxing after their weekly work schedules in popular gathering areas of the capital.
The interaction between the Prime Minister and the public was marked by joy and excitement, as citizens expressed happiness at the opportunity to freely converse with the country’s leader.
