At least 2 militants were on Monday killed near Jilib Middle Juba region in the latest US airstrike targeting the Alqaeda linked Alshabaab.
One militant was wounded according to a statement issued by the US Africa Command.
“We assess no civilians were killed in this airstrike” the statement said.
This is the fourth airstrike in Somalia by the US in 2018.
