Somaliland Ministry of Finance meets World Bank offcials to accelerate development project

The Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development of Somaliland, Mohamed Hasan Saleebaan, held a high-level meeting on Wednesday afternoon with a delegation from the World Bank at the ministry’s headquarters in Hrgeisa.
The discussions centred on reviewing ongoing World Bank-supported projects in Somaliland, exploring ways to accelerate their implementation, and planning new initiatives expected to launch in the near future.
During the meeting, officials from both sides addressed challenges affecting current projects and discussed potential solutions to improve project efficiency and outcomes. Emphasis was placed on streamlining project management processes, enhancing monitoring mechanisms, and ensuring that all initiatives deliver meaningful results to the people of Somaliland.
