Commander of Ground Forces Concludes Conference of Army Sector Commanders in Mogadishu
Commander of the Somali National Army Ground Forces, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, has officially concluded a ten-day conference held in Mogadishu that brought together all sector commanders of the Ground Forces.
The meeting, organized by the Somali National Army Headquarters, focused on strengthening coordination, improving operational capacity, and sharing experiences among commanders. It also reviewed security operations, training programs, and strategic plans for the coming year aimed at enhancing the performance of the Ground Forces.
During the discussions, commanders exchanged updates on the current security situation, military training, and ways to boost discipline and cooperation across various army sectors.
In his closing remarks, General Sahal Abdullahi Omar praised the commanders for their dedication and called on them to double their efforts in fulfilling their duties and upholding the mission of the Somali National Army.
He urged the officers to remain united and committed to protecting the nation, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, discipline, and professionalism in achieving lasting stability and progress.
