Somalis across the globe have criticized self declared Somali land authorities in the social media.
The reaction comes after Hargeisa authorities detained four members of popular Horn Stars music bandon Sunday on their return from Somali capital Mogadishu.
The singers who are still in detention are facing charges of national betrayal including visiting Mogadishu without permission and sharing photos online while in blue Somali flag.
Famous Somali female singer Farxiya Kabayare has slammed Somaliland authorities for the move.
Kabayare said music and Somali language has no border in a video she posted in her face book page.
On his part Federal Government of Somalia Minister of Planning Abdirahman Ainte has faulted Hargeisa saying Mogadishu should not be different from Jigjiga in Ethiopia and Djibouti referring to band recent performance in these two neighboring countries.
Self declared but internationally not recognized Somaliland limits movement of citizens to the South Somalia to protect independence ambitions sentiments.
