Somalia’s presidential election which want to be begin on 30 November, has been postponed for a third times, Somali Electoral Commission said .
Omar Mohamed Abdulle, head of Somalia’s electoral body, said the Somalia’s presidential election will not happen on 30 November furthermore he didn’t mention the exact date.
“Presidential election came to a delay, but it is compulsory to happen before the New Year, he said.
Security has improved in parts of Somalia since the last election, thanks mainly to a 22,000-strong African Union force that has dislodged al-Shabab from most urban areas. But the al Qaeda-linked group continues to carry out regular bombings and assassinations, killing a top Somali general and six of his bodyguards in Mogadishu as recently as Sept. 18.
