Kenyan war planes have on Saturday shelled some locations which come under Diinsoor district in Baay region south of Baidoa town the headquarters of Baay region.
Some of the locations which the planes bombarded are Raxoole location which is some 40km Diinsoor district and Qodqod location which is also some 43km from Diinsoor district
“The planes dropped 2 missiles in Raxoole and two others in Qodqod locations, but fortunately none of the local residents were injured in the raid, the 4 missiles did not detonate and we are keeping them in a secure areas which we have enclosed said†the commissioner for the social affairs Mr. Abshir Moalim.
The Kenyan war planes have been carrying out frequent attacks in Somali soil after more than 100 of their troops were killed at El-Ade location in Gedo region southwest of Somalia by Alshabab fighters.
The Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to pay back the killing of the Kenyan soldiers in Somalia.
