On Saturday the former Somali ambassador to Kenya His Excellency Mohamed Ali Noor [America] has been stopped from entering Baladweyn town the headquatres of Hiraan region in central Somali.
After the ambassador was denied access to enter in Baladweyn town he spoke to the English section of Radio Dalsan.
“I was on peace tour and started my tour from the city Mogadishu, to Kismayo, to Baidoa, to Garowe to Qardo to Galkaio, to Adaado, to Dhusamareeb, to Guriel, to Mataban, and when I was about to enter Baladweyn I was met with armed men and some of the local administration of Baladweyn in half way and they told me that I have no authority to enter the town, and when I asked the reason they told me that it was an order from above and they cannot break the order and insisted not to show me the green light†said ambassador America.
The ambassador also added that the order he was stopped from entering Baladweyn town was given out by the regional governor of Hiraan region Mr. Abdifatah Hassan Afrah, and he does not still no the reason as to why he was denied access in Baladweyn town. “In the first place I have communicated with the regional authority, but I was denied access in the last minute and this is very shocking indeed†added ambassador America.
The regional administration of Hiraan region has not yet commented about the denial of access of ambassador America to Baladweyn town.
