Uganda is considering review of its diplomatic ties with federal government of Somalia, source has confirmed to Radio Dalsan.
The source who declined to reveal his name because not authorized to speak to the media has told Radio Dalsan that Ugandan parliament is set to meet later this week to debate appropriate steps to be taken.
Kampala was angered by the recent arrest and humiliation of its soldiers serving under AMISOM in Mogadishu by the Somali police while selling military supplies together with other ten Somali citizens in Hodan district.
Five soldiers mostly Ugandans were detained on Sunday after tip-off from the members of the public.
Ugandan army spokesman Paddy Ankunda has said the soldiers will appear before military court back home to answer the charges.
