The governments of Somalia and Kuwait have agreed to cooperate in security and education, after a meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia said that Minister Abshir Omar Jama had a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Saba in Algiers, Algeria.
The two sides discussed how to cooperate in the fields of security, elimination of Al-Shabaab and development of education.
The two ministers also exchanged views on strengthening relations and how to continue multilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia is part of a delegation led by the President of Somalia in Algeria, where he is attending the 31st round of the Arab League Summit which opened in Algiers, Algeria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia also held various meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the University’s countries
