The Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke has reached southern port city of Kismayo.
Prime Minister Abdirashid will join other regional officials such as Ethiopian Foreign Minister and Kenyan counterpart in the inauguration ceremony of the regional state President Ahmed Madobe Islam.
Former Raskamboni brigade commander was elected to the office for the second time after two years interim agreement period with central government ended last month.
The security of the city has been heightened due to the ceremony.
Other reports say President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is also expected to attend the inaugural ceremony.
