Somali Army commander visits liberated Lower Shabelle to boost troop morale.

The Commander of the Somali National Army Land Forces, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, has visited recently liberated areas in Lower Shabelle, where operations against militant groups were successfully concluded.

The visit aimed to encourage and motivate the brave soldiers of the Somali National Army (SNA) as well as local forces stationed at key positions in the region.

During his stay, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar met with senior officers leading the operations, receiving briefings on the security situation and overall conditions in the liberated areas.

He also praised the courage, resilience, and dedication demonstrated by the forces working together on the frontlines, highlighting their commitment to protecting civilians and restoring peace in the region.
