Somalia’s Puntland State President Said Abdullahi Deni and his Vice President Ilyaas Osman Lugatoor chaired the weekly cabinet meeting in Garowe town, the administrative capital of the region.
The meeting centred on various issues including the current security situation prevailing in the regional State.
Discussions also focused on preparation for the upcoming local council elections, uplifting the education status and licensing of motorists in the regional State.
President Deni called on the Council to redouble their efforts and serve the residents in a diligent and distinguished manner.
He underlined the importance of collaborative efforts to advance the agenda of his government to the Somali people living in the regional State.
