Somalia’s national assembly speaker Prof. Mohamed Osman Jawari with high level government officials are expected to visit Dhusamareb town, the headquarters of Gal-gaduud region on Monday.
The town’s security was tightened ahead of speaker’s arrival according to officials on the ground despite extra troops were deployed key Dhusamareb thoroughfares to maintain security and any impulsive attack from the terror groups.
The parliament speaker Prof. Jawari is anticipated to hold talks with the region stakeholders including elders and government officials in the town. Somali Federal government has been working the formation of a new regional state for the central Somali regions.
