President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on Sunday appointed Ms Hani Abdi Gaas as his Advisor on Youth and Sports Affairs. A statement by Villa Somalia says Ms Gaas brings extensive expertise in youth development, gained from working with international and local organisations. She has also represented Somali youth on various global and regional platforms, showcasing her dedication to advancing their interests.
President Mohamud has urged Ms Gaas to utilise her knowledge of community development to empower Somali youth, who are vital role in shaping the country’s future.
