Somalia´s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday dissolved the National Independent Electoral and Border Commissions and the Federal Boundaries Commission in his latest changes to previous laws and institutions formed by his predecessor Farmajo.
DADSOM, Somalia’s citizen registration and identification agency, was also dissolved by the Presidential decree.
In a presidential decree, the president dissolved the National Independent Elections Commission and the Federal Boundaries Commission, citing constitutional irregularities.
President Hassan directed the cabinet to constitute afresh membership to the National Independent Elections Commission and the Federal Boundaries Commission, according to Abdika4im Ali Kaar.
