The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Mustafa Duhulow, held a meeting at his office with Justin Davis, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Mogadishu.

The meeting focused on recent progress and ongoing collaboration in managing migration and border security. The Director General highlighted that the PISCES system has already played a key role in strengthening migration management and border security. He emphasized that efforts will continue to expand the implementation of this system nationwide to ensure the safety and integrity of Somalia’s borders.

Both sides also discussed ways to further enhance continuous cooperation with the support of the U.S. government, particularly in building the capacity and expertise of agency personnel, as well as advancing modernized systems for migration management and border security.
