Somalia and Pakistan strengthen cooperation on security and internal affairs.

The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ali Yusuf Ali (Hoosh), who is on an official working visit to Pakistan, held a meeting with his counterpart from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two ministries, with discussions covering key areas such as security collaboration, state-building, institutional capacity development, and the exchange of expertise related to internal affairs and public safety.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of sustained partnership to support stability, governance, and development.
