Somalia and Qatar commit to ongoing cooperation in internal security.

The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail, currently on an official visit to Qatar, held a meeting with the Qatari Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdul Qasis bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani.

The two ministers discussed ways to enhance security cooperation between Somalia and Qatar, as well as methods to improve joint working mechanisms in related areas.

The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the fraternal ties and sustained collaboration between the governments of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Somalia.
