Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh is on Wednesday expected to arrive Mogadishu.
according to reliable sources Guelleh will arrive in Mogadishu for ribbon-cutting ceremony for joint Somali-Djibouti development projects.
President Guelleh will also arrives cut the ribbon on the building of the AGA Somali Language Academy. The center, which was established to play a major role in the revival of the Somali language, was built by the government of Djibouti, and is located in the Shangani district of Mogadishu.
There are also other delegations coming from Kenya and Ethiopia, who arrived in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
According to sources. It is not officially known what the purpose of the delegation’s trip is and the issues they will discuss with the leaders of Somalia, except for President Ismail Omar Guelle who is detaining the center.
Somali officials closed key roads in Mogadishu in preparation for the visit of Djibouti’s President and his team. Security has also significantly been tightened at numerous vital checkpoints.
