Mogadishu, October 31, 2023 – The Minister of Youth and Sports has announced the formation of a seven-member team tasked with ensuring the resounding success of the upcoming Regional Government Games.
Scheduled to captivate sports enthusiasts in Mogadishu this December, the event is poised to be a groundbreaking tournament that showcases the athletic prowess of the regions.
Leading the committee with unparalleled expertise is Chairman Abdirahin Warsame Diriye, a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of experience and vision to the table. Working alongside him as the deputy chairman is Ahmed Farah Takal, whose planning and execution skills are set to play a pivotal role in orchestrating a flawless competition.
The committee’s mandate encompasses a wide range of critical responsibilities that are integral to the seamless execution of the Regional Government Games. These include the implementation of authorized activities, meticulous budget preparation, and the coordination of the tournament for SSC Khatumo and Banadir Region.
