Mogadishu population is preparing to celebrate Eid al-Adha one of the two most important festivals in the Muslim calendar on Monday.
But in this year the residents in the Somali capital are expressing worrying about the closed roads because of IGAD heads meeting that will hosted in the city one day after the Islamic festival.
For past three days key  Mogadishu roads were no go zone for the public service vehicles only for the by Somali army along with African union mission in Somalia for security ties.
The president of Somalia federal government H.E Hassan Sheikh has on Saturday asked Mogadishu residents to show to be patient as his the country welcomes head of states from the region in the city since 35 years ago.
Hundreds of people were seen on Saturday and Sunday morning walking to and from city shopping malls in what is seen as last minute preparations for Eid festival as public services vehicles capitalizing to make money were diverted from the major roads such as Maka Al Mukarama road.
