Somalia’s National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission) on Monday officially launched a voter registration campaign in Jalalaqsi district of the Hiiraan region.
Officials from the Commission who are stationed in Jalalaqsi formally inaugurated the voter registration drive, marking another step in preparations for the country’s upcoming electoral process. The launch ceremony was also attended by local district administration officials, who expressed support for the initiative.
